Owen Sowerwine Scholarship

The Owen E. Sowerwine Scholarship Fund was first awarded for the 1977-1978 academic year at FVCC and honors one of FVCC’s founders, Owen Sowerwine, who is attributed with conceiving the vision of a higher education institution in Northwest Montana. The fund assists second-year students who are majoring in a social or natural science and interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
