Supplemental Questions
  1. Ned Sohl's passion for learning was as great as his passion for the outdoors and his fellow man. After earning a Ph.D. in chemistry and spending 30 years in chemical research and development, he chose to retire to the Flathead Valley to enjoy all the wonders the area had to offer. Over his life, Ned amassed dozens of certifications and commendations from the Appalachian Trail Conference, Passenger Train Emergency Response, National Ski Patrol System, National Park Service, and Flathead County Search & Rescue Association. Ned gave back to his community in time and charitable support with a plan to support FVCC in his final wishes, making him an inspiration to those who knew him. Please provide an essay of 500 to 1,000 words discussing someone who has influenced you and your choices in life, and how you plan to use your academic studies in the future.
